Local Commitment

We are building a more sustainable and equitable local food system by sourcing from urban farms in the greater Washington, DC area for all of our fresh products. We also distribute our fresh products to food insecure individuals through our partners, such as Martha's Table and Bread for the City.

OurFarm DC

All of our greens are sourced from OurFarm DC, which operates a hydroponic farm and community garden at The Covenant House in Southeast Washington, DC. They train and hire individuals who face high barriers to employment, including formerly incarcerated returning citizens.

Our Community Partners

We partner with local nonprofits to distribute our salads and other fresh products to families facing food insecurity. All of our partners offer daily no-cost grocery services to their clients, where they are able to access our nourishing products.
